Infant Care Class (2 Nights)
with Elayne Ireland

Please register only one person per couple.
Expectant and adoptive parents are invited to join us and learn about a variety of care topics, including newborn characteristics and behaviors, hospital routines, daily care and bathing, diapering, swaddling, feeding issues, crying, and colic. We will also discuss health and safety information, including SIDS risk factors. Car seat safety training will be provided by a nationally-certified Child Passenger Safety Instructor.
In light of heightened concerns related to COVID-19, this course will meet virtually via WebEx. You will receive login information, including the password, a few days before the course begins.

Sustaining Healthy Habits Together
with Registered Dietitian

Are you looking for support to make and sustain healthy lifestyle choices? Would you benefit from an encouraging peer group and a nutrition expert to work with you on your goals?
Facilitated by a registered dietitian, we will discuss favorite recipes, food shopping tips, fitness and wellness apps, and other tools that may help you sustain healthy lifestyle choices. The power of sharing experiences will keep you engaged, connected, and motivated...even if you get stuck.

Grief Support Group

Time alone does not heal all wounds. Grief needs to be expressed and witnessed to become manageable. This adult-only group provides a safe, private place to talk about the loss of a loved one without judgment, without fear of being a burden. Join us and find comfort in knowing you are not alone.

Childbirth Preparation Series (3 Nights)

Childbirth Preparation is a three-class series designed to educate expectant parents on their options during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. We will discuss having a healthy pregnancy, the work of labor and birth, coping with labor, options for medications and other interventions, being an active participant in your care, the role of the birth partner, and the first 48 hours after birth.

Caregiver Support Group
with Support Group

In this monthly group, facilitated by Pierre Zimmerman, M.S., of One Roof Holistic Health Center, we will:
- Address issues of self-care, and how to practice it in the midst of caring for someone else.
- Identify sources of stress, and learn skills to cope and take action to reduce that stress.
- Explore ways to feel healthier, including practical solutions for constructive communication.
- Discover how to clarify your needs and meet them without feeling guilt, anger, or resentment.

Breastfeeding Support Group
with Kelly Duheme

Join Kelly Duheme, IBCLC, from Saratoga Hospital, and Sarah Smith, CLC, from Saratoga County EOC-WIC, for a free online support group to connect with other breastfeeding mothers.
We will celebrate our successes, share our struggles, and offer guidance and support to help both mom and baby throughout their breastfeeding journey. Expectant mothers are encouraged to attend, and the group is open to all local mothers regardless of delivery location. Grandmothers are also welcome.

Diabetes Support Group
with Registered Dietitian

Join our virtual support group, led by a Registered Dietitian from Saratoga Hospital, to discuss topics relevant to anyone living with Type 2 or pre-diabetes. We will talk about healthy eating, being active, taking medications, reducing risks for complications, recipe sharing, and tips for food shopping.
Family members and friends are welcome to attend.
