Childbirth Preparation is designed to educate expectant parents on their options during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. We will discuss having a healthy pregnancy, the work of labor and birth, coping with labor, options for medications and other interventions, being an active participant in your care, the role of the birth patner, and the first 48 hours after birth. The series will include discussions, films, hands-on opportunities, networking with other expecting couples, and a tour of Saratoga Hospital's Labor & Delivery Unit.

We offer discounts for active/retired military, hospital employees, and Medicaid. We also offer 15% off education packages when you register for three or more classes. Contact communityed@saratogacare.org with any questions.

Join us for a free balance and fall risk assessment, using standardized testing and the most current research. You will be screened by skilled, licensed therapists from the Regional Therapy Center to learn tips to help prevent falls.

Choosing a hospital and a provider to deliver your baby can be a tough decision. This class is designed to introduce you to the Women's Health Services Unit and our neonatal providers, Saratoga Hospital Midwives, and Saratoga OBGYN at Myrtle Street. The class will include an overview of the services available, an introduction to the other classes offered to expectant parents, time for questions, and conclude with a tour of the Maternity Unit.

So, whether you're newly expecting, planning to become pregnant soon, or just curious about what we have to offer, come join us and see what we're all about!
